What Causes Severe Dry Mouth And Fatigue After Taking Quetiapine Fumarate?

About 24 hours ago I took an Aleve due to a headache. About 1/2 hour later I took an old 93 8163 pill left over from a medical procedure. Soon thereafter I had severe dry mouth and fatigue. About one hour later I fell asleep and slept for about 12 hours. I woke up with severe dry mouth and was still very tired. The dry mouth has eased but not stopped completely. I slept for about 3 hours after being awake for about 4 hours. I remain sleepy with mild dry mouth.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you are having all symptoms of dry mouth including dry mouth, drowsiness, sleepiness and lethargy. I think you may need more time to get used to Seroquel. If you still feel the same after a week consult your doctor to lower the dosage.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
