Hi thanks for contacting health care magic.. Noted you have severe productive cough with sore throat.... Here respiratory cause has to be ruled out... You could have bronchitis like infection or if purulent sputum there bronchiectasis also has to be ruled out... Chest x ray first done in your case to rule out cause... Your physical respi examination needs to be done with auscultation... You might given amoxiclav like antibiotic... For cough expectoration mucolytic drug like ambroxol given.... Drink hot water which help in expectorating cough... If you develop chest pain and fever then pneumonia can be there...chest x ray reveal consolidation in it.... If congestion more then antihistaminic might given. Steam inhalation useful.... With keeping this in mind consult pulmonologist.... Take care Dr.Parth
