What Causes Severe Cough And Cold While On Eliquis?

Greetings Doctor, This is Nirmala. I got married last year at age of 34 and had still birth recently in Apr 2016. Reason: blood clot in placenta baby did not get blood and expired. During labor I took Epidural injection. It gave side effects of headache, weakness. Main problem: blood clots In May 2016 I got blood clots in lungs and taking Eliquis blood thinner. After starting the medication, in June I had severe cough & cold and suffering with tonsils since then. Tonsils troubling still. Last month blood tests shows low Mch, high rdw, high globulin, low albumin, high platelets. Help me recover these levels differences with food naturally.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

This is not a case for natural medication. You should absolutely consult a hematologist specialist because, in my opinion, you need some blood tests to evaluate the coagulation situation of your body as you have had an abortion. Please discuss with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
