What Causes Severe Constipation Despite Taking Suppositories And Laxatives?

I was rear ended on 11/3/15 and have only had 2 bowel movements since then. I am not taking any pain killers. I have taken a total of 12 senacot tablets, tried Metamucil, moral ax, have taken a total of 10 linzess capsules, I haven been taking lactulose for 7 days, 8 suppositories and tried 2 enemas and still not able to have a bowel movement. Is there anything else that I can do? It hits under my ribs.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Here you have no bowel movement even after taking suppositories and laxatives....

So kindly consult gastroenterologist for your condition...

USG abdomen done first to rule out any organic cause if present like intestinal obstruction by bends or adhesion....

If needed colonoscopy done for it...
And if any obstructing mass present biopsy need to be taken to rule out its nature...
If fibrinous adhesion present then need to get corrected....

Hope your concern solved.

Take care
