The length of time this pain can last can last from 15 minutes to an hour or more. Nothing eases this pain.I do jave a Green Field Filter that has been in for about 7 years.Do you have any idea what the issue may be?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should first get done ecg and 2d echo to rule out cardiac chest pain.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Sometimes cervical spine pathology also causes bilateral shoulder pain. So get done MRI of cervical spine.
If this is also Nirmal then possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
So avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid movements causing pain.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
