What Causes Severe Chest Pain During Night?

been sick for last 8 days, severe chest pains at night, flu like symptoms for example throat feels swollen making it seem harder to breathe, fatigued, loss of appetite, feeling dehydrated, left wrist is extremely sore, muscular aches and pain and lack of energy, severe headaches and a cough but that more seems as a result of breathing difficulties. I have constant high blood pressure and a first degree heart blockage, not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have a family history of heart disease and heart attacks strokes on early thirties and I'm 39 years old and 165cm tall and 86 kilos

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of viral upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is more.
And chest pain is mostly due to musculoskeletal pain.
But since you are having strong family history of heart attacks and stroke, better to first rule out heart diseases for your chest pain.
So get done ecg and 2d echo.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Take antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs for URTI.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated. Avoid oily and spicy food. Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
Don't worry, you will be alright. But first rule out heart diseases.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
