What Causes Severe Burning Sensation In The Penis?

Acute burning sensation inside entire length of penis as well as in rectum almost all the time since last 1 month. Took 10 tablets of Augmentin 625mg. Urine culture done. Result- negative. Then what is the reason for this burning. And what is the remedy for immediate relief ?

Thanks for positng your query on HCM.
I have read and understood your concern.
With a negative urne culture, a UTI may be eliminated.I will suggest you see the Doctor for an STI work-up.Tests like urethral swap smear test and a chalmydia tests may help.If the results reveal any infection, treatment will be prescribed.In the meantime, you may try a steroidal anti-inflammatory like prednisolone for say 5 days.
