Common causes of such pains include muscle spasms , costochondritis , cervical spondylosis . I would suggest you to have a CBC done . And in addition inflammation of pleura should also be ruled out as pleural effusions are common after pneumonia and main reason of post pneumonia pain. If no reason is found on investigations then it should be considered a muscular pain and You can apply heating pads to affected site and start taking a healthy nutritious diet as recurrent pneumonia also makes the body weak and more prone to such pains . Start doing regular exercises . In most of the cases such pains resolves in some times on its own .
