What Causes Severe Back Pain And Followed By Fever?
Hi my husband is 52 weighs approx 250lbs & is an electrician by trade. About3 days ago started having sharp lower back pains. Thought perhaps bad bed. Next day started with all over body aches & fatigue that night sever chills with sweating throughout the night. Fever between 100 - 102 f. Still having painful body aches mild chills temp around 98-99 f. Urinating but not very much at a time. Possible kidney malfunction or bladder infection?

If he would have come to me with same complaints i would have Investigated him for any Urinary Infection and Calculi and Treated accordingly so i advise you to consult Nephrologist till then you can give him:
1 Tab Nitrofuratoin 100 mg three times daily for 1 wk
2. alkaliser 2tsf in half glass of water 3 times daily for 1 wk
3 tab paracetamol 500 mg three times for fever and chills
