What Causes Severe Back Pain Along With Nausea Post Trauma?

I have ongoing back pain already from yrs of several injuries, bad brakes plus a few disc injuries. Today I had a hard fall in the pitch dark over sharp objects a total surprise that these traps had been set for me, not funny. I fell on my knees forward and also poked in my side and stomach by a hard cornered object. I also hurt my back Very bad again! Im very Nauseous, weak in my legs and in a lots of pain!

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe back pain along with nausea post trauma . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acute back injury , whiplash , sciatica , osteoarthritis or fibromyalgia. I would suggest you consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may CT scan or MRI along with physical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , muscle relaxant nerve supplement, anti emetic drug along with physical therapy. For now apply warm compresses to back and neck and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Doctor may also recommend surgery in case of disc problem. Also avoid bending forward. Doctor may also recommend surgery in case of severe disc problem .
