What Causes Severe Anxiety And Panic Attacks Along With Diarrhea?

Sunday I was in a car accident Sunday night. I went to the ER and had a catscan. Everything was clear so I was released bruised and sore but other than that okay. I also have severe anxiety and have had several panic attacks since the accident. Yesterday morning i began having diarrhea. Is this something I should worry about or is it just caused by extra stress?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

At present you are having symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. Diarrhea has not much to do with your anxiety symptoms. You may consult physician to find out the reason for diarrhea and drink lots of water. For your anxiety, you can take SNRI group of medicines and some benzodiazepines for sleep. I would have started you on Desvenlafaxine and Clonazepam for your sleep and PTSD. So, I suggest you to consult a psychiatrist and get opinion on this.
