What Causes Severe Anxiety And Depression In The Late Afternoon Despite Medication?
I ama 62yrold female with a history of mild depression, currently being treated with a 30mg daily dose of Celexa. I am currently experiencing severe anxiety and depression in the late afternoon prior to an evening meal. have never been diagnosed with irregular blood sugar.

it seems to be due to low blood sugar, because low blood sugar causes anxiety features and its leads to depressive features. u have to check your blood sugar daily for 1 week for mainting sugar. continue your treatment.
