Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I m a nurse and I think I may have injured my knee. I felt a pop in the back of my knee. I can walk as long as I keep my knee straight and locked. When I attempt to go up stairs, it buckles and hurts. I don t seem to be able to0 bear wt. on it in the bent position.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is highly fragile and vulnerable to injury and the most delicate structure is meniscus, it need to be tested for fracture and other disability so in my opinion better to get done the MRI till then NSAID can be used and take care not to bend the knee joint any more hope this information helps.
