What Causes Severe Acne During Pregnancy?

Hi! Last pregnancy i got severe acne the whole pregnancy! I was diagnosed with pcos before becoming pregnant. This time around instarted taking metformin and no longer have pcos and i am 6 weeks pregnant.... Is there a chance that pregnancy acne will not be an issue this time around? I am so worried!!!

Hello,

The acne development cannot be predicted 100% in all patient.

However as you have positive history of acne in last pregnancy this time also there is chance of acne in pregnancy.

You can apply topical clindamycin gel over acne.

But don't take any oral medicine without doctor advise.
