What Causes Severe Acid Reflux After A Fall?

Have had severe heartburn since a bad fall down stairs. Nothing broken or fractured but very bad bruising and sprains. I have history of reflux but has been dormant for long time. Have taken Tums, Zantac, and Prilosec. Eliminated caffeine, sugar. On bland diet for now. Could this be from a fall?

YES ANY STRESS CAN WORSEN RE FLUX AND MANY OF TIMES PAIN KILLER AND ANALGESIC WORSENS IT. BUT IF ITS SEVERE AND CHRONIC DESPITE ALL MEASURES CONTACT A NEARBY GASTROENTEROLOGY
