What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain On Right Side?

I have quite severe abdominal pain mainly towards the right side. I came over very poorly whilst driving, had to stop the car and get out. The pain was so severe, I thought I would pass out. Finally drove home with the window wide open. Have now vomited bile. Still have pain but don t feel as poorly at the moment. My last meal was at 1.30 pm today

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Abdominal pain concentrated on right side followed by vomiting of bile is suggestive of gall bladder disorder.
Vomiting of bile suggests some kind of obstruction in small intestine distal to opening of bile duct.
Thus, you need to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
An ultrasound abdomen will determine if there is any organomegaly or any other disorder of abdominal organs.
Gall stones can lead to pain and vomiting so there is suspicion of gall stones.
Management of gall stones is surgical removal of gall bladder with stones.

Thanks and take care
