What Causes Sensitive Small Red Bumps On Finger Knuckles?

I have these small red or flesh colored bumps that show on my finger knuckles. They don t itch but sometimes they get sensitive enough to hurt when pressed or sratched at. I ve had these pop up once every few months or so and they go away after nearly a month on average. Do you have any ideas what it could be? I don t like going in to the doctors because I never get a real answer but a very real bill.

Hello respected,

i tried to understand your problem, and i think you may have knuckle pads, that's usually asymptomatic, and in many cases that occurs spontaneously without any reason or may be because of constant friction or pressure at the knuckle sites ,

so try to avoid friction at those sites and apply good quality moisturizer containing urea lactic acid than can slowly flatten up the bumps..

and one more thing, these type of bumps, other than knuckle pads, can be seen in many systemic disease so let me know if you have joint pain, fever, body rash at the same time,

thank you
