What Causes Sensation Of Liquid Running From Incision To Thigh Post Hernia Surgery?

Following hernia surgery (groin area) I get this sensation of liquid running down from the incision down the thigh. It has happened seven or eight times since the surgery and my doctor has said that he has never heard of this. It is quite irritating. Do you know what is causing this and will it subside at some point? The surgery was 12/17/14.
