What Causes Seeping Of Fluid From Head After A Skull Fracture?

I am a 68 year old woman and this afternoon when I rubbed the top of my head a clear, slightly sticky fluid seeped out and it is continuing to seep off and on. My concern is that May 22 I was hit in the head by a line drive foul ball at a major league baseball game and sustained a fractured skull. That was in the front, and this incident I am describing is on the top toward the back of my head. Yesterday it itched and when I rubbed, it sort of hurt a little. Is this anything I should worry about?

Hi, it could be csf coming out through fracture site.

After head injury , csf rhinorrhea is common after depressed fracture.

It needs treatment because if untreated it can cause meningitis.

I advise you to do CT hed and to consult neurosurgeon.
