What Causes Scaly Skin And Bloody Nose After A Tonsillectomy Surgery?

I had my tonsillectomy surgery three weeks ago, I am 19 and have recovered rather well. Majority of the scab is gone, it isn t hurting or anything. What s odd is that it looks like my tonsils previously did with a bumpy texture (the only thing I can relate it to is cauliflower tops) it s something new I ve had these past two days. I also have had some (scab/blood/skin) spit up/from my nose, but I also had adenoids and a reduction in my nose. Any help is well appreciated!

Hello there
The blood clots or blood stained scabs that come fron your nose may be the result of any type of nasal trauma gone during the intubation or surgery( tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy). Start nasoclear nasal spray twice a day. Consult your doc if problem persist....
