What Causes Saliva Vomit In Morning?
Hello, frequently in the mornings my son, who is 14 wakes and vomits/chokes on saliva. He will only bring up saliva and once he s done he is fine. My husband had the same problem when he was young too. Do you know what may cause this and if there may be anything we could do about it? I believe he finds it quite distressing and if I could give him an explanation it may help. Thanks for your time.

I really appreciate your concern, this could be due to hyperacidity, if I would be his treating physician then I would treat this case with the following medicines
1) Tab Omeprazole 20 mg once in day at evening time
2) Tab Domperidone 15 mg once in day at evening time
these need to be given for couple of week, hope this information helps, take care.
