What Causes Round Red Patch On The Leg?

I have a very red color that is round on the side of my leg. (Near thigh). It started a few days ago as a knot that was very sore. I have had staph twice. Once on my neck, that caused surgery and hospitalization. And staph on my shoulder. Could this also be staph.

It is due to some allergy or insect bite. Take some antibiotic like moxikind-cv or cefadroxyl after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for itching and redness. Apply betnovate-c or valnerate-n cream for local application.
