What Causes Round Black Spots In Vision?

My mother who is 60 yrs old and in great health, had a sudden onset of seeing round black spots in her vision that float if she blinks a lot they will move...no curtain closing , no pain, no injury. She only uses reading glasses occasionally. Should we be concerned?

HI
Well come to HCM
This is ophthalmic condition, floaters are very common symptoms in this age and this really demands the complete ophthalmic examination and without this nothing can be said, it could be cataract, retinal pathology, refractive errors, systemic disease and others so better see the eye surgeon, take care.
