What Causes Ring Worm Infection On The Inner Elbow?

I just got told earlier today that I have ringworm. I went online and looked at some pics of it & I m not sure my Dr. was correct. It s a rash on the inside of my elbow & it s oval like if i close my arm at a right angle it s the shape of the skin that is touching. I have had this for about a year & my husband has on sign of anything? does this make sense we share the same wash cloth most of the time.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

According to your history it is macular lesions and seems to be fungal infection mainly....

Yes cloth sharing can spread it...
For its treatment make that area clean with warm water ...
Keep that area dry...Avoid moisture...
Loose clothing wear ....
Apply topical antifungal cream of clotrimazole.....
Oral antifungal like fluconazole can be taken....

Wash cloths in hot water...

Take care.
