Im getting occasional sharp pains in right abdomen area over last couple of days. Goes away and comes back a couple of times a day. Last night after dinner I could not even relax to rest before working overnight shift. Also felt nauseated and like I was going to get sick.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This sounds like a classic case of gallstones. If you do not have a fever or jaundice, just wait it out and try ordinary over the counter pain killers and an outpatient ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
