What Causes Right Side Hip Pain?

i m a semi-active 54 year old male, good height weight balance, and have developed a pain in my right hip. it feels kind of like a bee sting that doesn t abate. i tried stretching it out and walking it off but after three weeks it s still in an on again/off again condition. thoughts?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have right side hip pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like arthritis , rheumatoid arthritis , bursitis , sprains ,strains , tendinitis , sciatica and spinal stenosis . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray , CT scan , along with check movement . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory along with physical therapy and light exercises .Doctor may also recommend surgery in some cases .
