What Causes Rib Cage Pain Despite Having UTI?

I have had a UTI. I had no symptoms just burnt after intercourse. I took a three day course of antibiotics. Then i started developing symptoms. So I took the other 4 Tablets. From the week before I started taking the tablets until now i wake up in the morning and my rib cage hurt so bad that I can hardly get out of bed. IT restricts my breathing too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There is no relationship between UTI and chest pain. I think you may need to do an uroculture to get tested for that UTI and get right treatment. You may have muscle pain possibly related to repeated movement or working position. You may need to take anti-inflammatory drugs such Advil or acetaminophen for pain. Physical therapy may help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
