What Causes Repeated Hyperventilation Causing Failure In EEG Test?

I had a seizure last July. I got an EEG done while in the hospital. I was started on Keppra. 500mg twice a day. I had another EEG done back in November. I did not pass because of the hyperventilating part. My medicine was raised to 750 twice a day. I just had another EEG done on Tuesday. I failed, again, because of the hyperventilating part. What would a normal persons EEG look like? What will help to make my results normal.

Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic
Sorry about your seizure! Regarding your experience with seizure attack that showed persistent hyperventilation on EEG following use of keppra I am suggesting that you have developed a brain infart that is responsible for the derangement in the EEG results

In view of this please schedule an appointment with a neurologist specialist for expert clinical assessment Councelling and adequate reevaluation of your medication

I hope this helps Regards
