What Causes Reduced HCG Levels, Nausea And Breast Tenderness After A Miscarriage?

I had a natural miscarriage on May 6 2015 at around 4 weeks . my doctor did a blood test and confirmed my hcg levels were back down to two. I bled for a little over a week and I think I ovulated on the 19th . I haven t had a cycle since and before my miscarriage my cycles were an average of 25 days . Me and my fiance had sex on the 20th and I still haven t seen a period , since last week I ve been feel nauseaus and my breast have been tender . I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative , can something else be wrong ?

Hello and welcome.

The return of only your hCG levels does not suffice. You need to see to it that all hormone levels return to normal in order to avoid such undesired symptoms and to help get you to your fertile self.

Speak to your doctor about checking those hormone levels and helping you to have a period which will also greatly help to normalize things.

Best wishes
