Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have developed a redness on the top of both feet. It does not itch or hurt. I thought it was sunburn , since I have been at a pool or hot tub for the last six weeks. I am fair skinned and wear sunscreen but did not put it on my feet most days since I sit in the shade when not in the pool. I have had it for about 4 days now. It has not gotten any worse or much better. I have put aquaphor on it. Any ideas?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Sometimes blood starts to collect in small capillaries of feet... especially in prolonged standing position &the stain of blood can be seen in the skin (especially in fair, thin skin or age wise thinning of skin). I feel you have the same thing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale,
