What Causes Redness Of Skin Around Cuts After Applying Hair Removal Cream?

ive just used veet hair removal cream on my arms. I was aware I had a couple of cuts but tried avoiding them but accidentally the cream got on it and now red and spotty what do I do? is this anything to worry about. It isn t really hurting now though...

Hair removal creams are irritating in nature. The chances of irritation would be more if you apply it on skin that is already compromised e.g cuts and abrasions
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to apply a moderately potent topical steroid+topical antibiotic combination ointment e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05%+ 2% mupirocin ointment, twice daily at the site of cuts.
That should take care of it within 3-5 days.
This is a prescription product and therefore I suggest you to talk to your doctor for the needful.
