What Causes Redness And Pain In The Eyes?

On June 12 I awoke to a extremely red eye. It is only my left eye. My doctor put me on a steroid eye drop. He wants me to decrease the dose everyday. I started a 6 times a day. Now I am trying to be at 3 times a day but the white part of my eye is very red and blood shot. I feel pressure around the eyeball. There is a feeling of pressure in my sinuses. Also, an area under my eye, on my cheek is red and swollen.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
That sounds like an eye infection.I will suggest you see your Doctor or an Ophthalmologist for examination and to judge the need to add an antibiotic eye drop to your steroids.
Hope this will help
