What Causes Redness And Itching Sensation On The Toes?

I have been taking sulfamethoxazole -tmp ds twice a day since last Monday. I now have very, bright red skin on most of my toes which is sometimes Warm and itchy. It almost looks like There are hives on two of the .toes. I have two pills left (one for tonight and one for tomorrow am) I am not going to take them but I don t want to get the uti back. I already have many drug allergies - is this one?

Sulfmethoxazole-TMP is well-known to frequently have allergies that are mostly with skin reactions. They are often severe and can be fatal. UTI's are wll known to response rapidly to antibiotics and the vast majority would be cured with a single pill.
