I have been having a problem for about a month--at first I thought it was something that I was allergic to like a food or my moisturizer but I have ruled that out. I have redness of the skin and it tingles and feels like it is burning on my face, especially around my eyes, neck (front only) and I feel only the tingling on the back of my hands, scalp and sometimes my forearms. I have noticed that is it worse when I am tired.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of redness and inflammation on the face which is spreading to hands, scalp seems to be a type of allergic reaction known as utricaria. It could be due to vitamin deficiency as well. I would suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid such as fluticasone, twice daily over the whole affected area and use it for 5-7 days. Wash area with plain water and apply ice pressure on it. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined to find out exact cause of lesion and start treatment accordingly. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
