Im a 22 year old male and I have to use an internal catheter to urinate, I've had a number of UTI before but this time there is a reddish brown tissue in my urine and I have some minor lower back pain which i belive is my kidneys, I want to know if its just because of the Infection or if something worse could be happening.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and if you are using the catheter then this could cause the trauma to urethra and this form a lesion there and the finding of epithelial tissue is likely in urine in my opinion better to see the urologist and discus about the pubic catheterization, take care and have a nice day.
