What Causes Red Vaginal Spotting Followed By Heavy Bleeding During Menstruation?

Hi, My periods is on 18 july 2015 but iy delayed so i thought i got pregnant ...so i tooka test n found Mot Pregnant.and on 5 day we had sex hardly n even fingering by my husband ...it was slightly pink discharge on my tissue 6th day same red spot ..7th dayi.e on 24th july red spotting..i was very worried then on 7 th afternoon i got my periods .i was very shocked to hve my periods .y red blood spotting occurs before my periods explains plzzz ..my cycle is 30 days cycle

Hi

Delay in periods or spotting can occur commonly due to hormonal imbalance.Ovarian cyst,uterine growth,hypothyroidism and nutritional deficiency should be ruled out.

Pelvic ultrasound,thyroid tests ,blood sugar and complete blood count should be tested.You may require hormonal pills to regulate your cycles.
