What Causes Red Spots On The Hip, Buttock, Breast And Waist?

Yes, I have red spots that are raised. They started to appear 2 weeks ago. They are itchy and appear in a group or cluster. Recently they bleed a small amount and with time, they flattened out and become a bit larger, then they fade away. They appeared on my hip, buttock, breast, and especially my waist, where my pants fit. I m a 59 year old woman with no history of skin issues.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on the hip, buttock, breast and waist which could be due to blockage of sebaceous glands as back has rich number of sebaceous glands.

Need not to worry. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should go for patch test as well. You should rinse the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice a day. Take a course of Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid twice a day for 5 days. Apply topical antibiotic cream such as neosporin 2% on it. take a course of antibiotic tablet.
