What Causes Red Spots On The Chest, Stomach And Inner Thighs?
I have red spots all over my torso, including back chest stomach and inner thighs. I have seen a large increase in spots over the last couple weeks, i have changed detergent and still no changes. The spots do not itch but i have been experiencing flu like symptoms for the last few weeks as well.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on chest, stomach and inner thighs which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting infected and it is due to abundance of sebaceous glands in these areas. It could be due to hair follicle and bacterial infection as well.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash these areas daily with lukewarm water and body wash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid which is good for pimples. Apply topical antibacterial ointment. Maintain complete hygiene of that area. Take diet rich in multivitamins. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
