Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Red spots on endoscopy may be gastric ulcer or gastric cancer.However, you will have to wait for the biopsy results before concluding.An idea of your symptoms would have been very important.However, such endocopy result are common in individual with gastritis/GERD.I will suggest you try the following while waiting on your Doctor: -Eat in small quantities and frequently -Avoid eating and lying down immediately -Maintain a healthy weight -Avoid foods that aggravate your symptoms such as fatty or fried foods, tomato sauce, alcohol, chocolate, mint, garlic, onion, and caffeine.... -Avoid smoking and much alcohol -If symptoms of heartburn present, you may take an anti-secretory like omeprazole and an antacid like maalox.
