Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my son wakes up with red spots on his legs ankles face neck chest back diaper area. only in the morning and quickly fade away within no time. they do not bother him. sometimes they look like flea bites. he has eczema but don t see it being that. not bug bites because he is in the same room with me and I do not get bit. I haven t switched laundry detergent or his diet any.
Since the child develops the rashes at night, it could be flea or bed bugs or any other similar insect bite. Its not necessary that you get the same symptoms as the baby because babies have more soft and sensitive skin and they react more severely and quickly to these kind of bites. I would recommend to get antiflea treatment and anti bed bugs treatment done in your house
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
