Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Been having small red spots around groin. They last for a couple of days and then go away. Only to return within a couple of weeks. They are not raised nor itch. What cup,d be the cause? I also had some gunk where my leg meets the groin ( on both sides) a few weeks ago
The symptoms seem to be related to foruncles which are an infection of the hair follicle. I recommend to maintain a good hygiene.I also recommend to use cotton underwear. I suggest to use an antibiotic cream for local application such as Neosporin cream.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
