Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have noticed in within the past month or so, I have a little blotched spot in the middle of my penile head, it does not hurt only when fully aroused can I notice that it is pronounced. What would this be, when not aroused it simply seems like a little red spot?
Hi, Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
Small patches and spots on the penis are very common and often without any cause. They may appear as just brownish discolorations or as papules or plaques You may have similar dark color patches else where in your body. If you have no other complaints and are otherwise healthy, then you need not worry
However if the lesion is painful or tender , or if it is slightly elevated from skin , if it feels slightly harder than adjacent skin than i would strongly suggest you to see a urologist or skin specialist and get the discoloration examined by a professional to rule out any underlying medical condition including an STD
I hope it help Thanks & Get well Soon
