What Causes Red Rashes Surrounded By White Area On The Nose?

I have had two biopsies on nose for red area and it bled. They came back negative for cancer. I think they were only pre-cancerous. I have it back again (small round spot on side of tip of my nose and it has a smaller white area. Is this something to be concerned abou, with my history?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

What was the report of biopsy? You said cancer to be absent ..do you mean malignant? Then two options left are benign growth and inflammatory lesions. Both of these can reappear. Please type report, only then we will be able to comment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Varinder Joshi, General & Family Physician
