What Causes Red Rashes On Inner Thighs And Under Arms?

I ve had a rash on abdomen bilateral upper inn thighs under arms. The rash is flaming red with some patches . Patches appears on my legs with dark red behind knees. Have been seen 3 times. 7 months with worsening s/sx. I have severe sciatica, sore throat and now thrush. T 99.4 oral .What is all this ?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have red rashes on inner thighs and under arms . There can be other reasons also like contact dematitis , psoriasis and scabies. As of now you can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Benadryl to relieve itching. In case of fungal infection antibiotics with steroid lotion massage can relieve.

In case of Folliculitis or Impetigo, antibiotic ointments and oral antibiotics can be advised. If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order certain test to confirm the diagnosis .

Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory .
