What Causes Red Rash On Arms After Having Adderall?

I m a 20 year old college student. I had an Organic Chemistry final that I had to stay up all night to study for. I took two 20 mg extended release Adderall and stayed up all night with minimal food and water. Through the day I have developed a red rash on my arms from just above the elbow down to the hands. It s not raised like hives however it does tend to pop up mainly over veins. I was wondering if you had any suggestions as to what I could do to help them dissipate quickly. Thank you very much.

Adderall is the combination of dextroamphetamine and amphetamine used in the treatment of a condition called attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Though it can increase attention span, general use in normal individual for studying purpose is not desirable. Though it increases the attention span, it can only postpone the fatiguability that means your increase in attention span is only temporary.
The rashes indicate you have developed some sort of hypersensitivity reactions to the medications. You can take antihistamines like levocetrizine or fexofenadine for faster dissipation. Now that you have hypersensitivity reaction to the medication, I would suggest you to seriously avoid it in the future as it may cause more dangerous reactions in the future.
