Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was in S. Carolina and had a run in with two fluttering things which I did not get a good look at. Anyway next day I noticed three bright purple red dots that were close together in a triangle. One red dot being at each point of the triangle. Thought at first I had disturbed a couple of moths but now wondering if they were bats and did I get bitten ? Your thoughts please !
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red raised spots which seems to be due to improper cleanliness of body, due to hair follicle infection by bacteria, clogging of skin pores and due to fungal infection. It could be due to allergic reaction as well. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry. Take oral antibiotic course as well. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. You should wear loose clothes and avoid sharing your clothes with anyone. Avoid touching or pricking it. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should go for blood tests and skin allergy or patch test and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
