What Causes Red Patch Of Skin With Blisters On It?
I have a red patch the size of a nickel with two little blisters on it. It is on my calf. I would think it is poison ivy!!!!! What is a good treatment for it??? Should I put a bandaid on it??? can it be transmitted through contact? Should I change bedding....?
It can be an allergic reaction to poison ivy. It can be treated by using compresses dipped in potassium permanagate solution in dilution of 1:10000 followed by application of potent steroid like clobetasol propionate cream along with antiallergic tablet like levocetrizine. You dont have to use bandaid on it and no need to change bedding. Moreover it doesnt spread by contact.
