What Causes Red Painful Spots Under The Feet And Swollen Ankles?

Hi. I have spots on the bottom of my foot. On the arch area. Very painful. Hot burning sensation. Swelling of the ankles. Been on antibiotics but still very painful. Was a circle of red spots initially but now just seems to be 2 prominent dark red spots.

Hello,

Red spots on the legs with swelling may be due to local insect bite with an allergic reaction or it may be due to anemia.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

It may be due to cellulitis or renal or cardiac failure.

Elevate the limbs, use painkiller medication if necessary.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
