What Causes Red Lump In The Throat Along With Neck Stiffness And Sore Throat?
Hi, i have few reddish color lump in the back of throat, also my neck feel stiff all the time, sour mouth constantly, i have been diagnosed with gastritis 5 months ago and I m on med Nolapaza twice a day, I follow strict diet but in past two months started with upper stomach pain and non stop sour mouth, sometimes i feel better for a week or so but than it follow with sudden pain attack and it last for couple of days. Your advise will be appreciated here

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red lump in the throat along with neck stiffness and sore throat . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like strep throat , upper respiratory tract infection , viral pharyngitis and acid reflux . Sometimes infection spread from respiratory tract and reaches larynx and causes hoarseness of voice. You should do neck stretching exercises. If symptoms doesn't get better in a days then consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may examine with laryngoscope , order throat swab test and viral culture test . Doctor may also recommend tonsillectomy .Doctor may refer you to allergy specialist or gastroenterologist . I would suggest you to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for headache and take benadryl twice a day.
