What Causes Red Itchy Rashes On The Upper Arm?

I have an appromately 6x7 inches rash on my upper arm and it is red, itchy and a little discomfort. I had big rashes before but not like this size. I already applied Benadryl cream today. I had this 2 days ago. Please help me. Is this something I should be scared of?

It can be due to some fungal infection or allergy for which you take antibiotics like cefadroxyl or zifi-cv after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or Avil for itching or rashes. Apply betnovate-c or clobit-gm cream locally on the affected area. You can take steroids if not improved with above treatment.
